3. Racial tensions in the deep south had erupted.
4. He presented Civil Rights legislation in Congress.
5. They marched from the Washington Monument to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
6. He mentioned Abraham Lincoln's emancipation proclamation which freed slaves a century earlier.
Unfortunately, they have now the same problem in the US. Some police officers are very rude with black people, who are sent to jail much more frequently than white people.Nothing have changed in their minds after all. What a pity!
